Sorry I haven't posted in a while — I’ve been busy writing a science fiction novel. I managed to keep it to around 600 pages and am currently in the throes of editing, now on my third read-through. Meanwhile, my previous book on graphic design has undergone a major revision to incorporate Adobe's more accessible generative AI, which I've used to stage nearly all the examples in this new edition. I expect to have it ready for publication early next year.

Rusty Robot Animation
It began with a generative AI rendering of a rusty robot on a motorcycle that I generated many times before modifying the best result many times with 'Generative Fill' in Adobe Photoshop. Then a background of a rusty boat in the desert became the image that inspired me.
With that inspiration using the generative AI robot image I adapted a linework image in Adobe Illustrator for the formal logo.

Registeed the domain names: rustyrobotanimation.com, rustyrobotanimate.com and rustyrobot.net that we'll most likely use on squarespace to sell merch.
A 15 second Rusty Robot intro video. Here we separated the sky, foreground and subject to animate using various After Effect expressions and audio to ad life to the the still images. Generative AI was again used to create the living room scene.
